Steve McCurry's Picture Reminded My One (4 Pictures & Text)

I clicked above picture of a ‘Bahuroopi (A Nomad)’ near the  Adalaj (Gujarat) on 22-8-2008, that time I don’t know anything about Steve McCurry, well-known photographer of ‘National Geographic Magazine’ and his work. In 2009 I stayed three days with him (from 28 to 30 May) as an interpreter on behalf of “Vicharta Samuday Samarthan Manch”. Then Steve was here to click pictures of people of nomadic tribes of Gujarat. Let me say plainly, that was bitter and sweeter experience.
Now, why am I writing this? I say, I say, Steve McCurry had clicked a picture which is below, in Bombay, 1995. Steve’s below one and my above one both have similarities: both are clicked from the inside of the four-wheeler. There are two kinds of begging in the pictures. In Steve’s one begging is due to helplessness and in my one begging is due to force of social system. Now Bahuroopis don’t make their traditional work, some are doing so, but their number is not more.
This can be said coincidence. On 1st October I saw Steve’s picture in ‘Photography Then and Now’ (page no. 169, year 1998) published by ‘The National Geographic Society’ which reminded me my one and then I felt to publish it on blog with Steve’s one.
